Today was so much fun. We went on a walk through the Wetland Park near our house. The kids each were given a little journal that is designated as their "Nature Journal". In this journal they are supposed to draw pictures, press pretty flowers, tell about something interesting they found or saw as we are out in nature, etc. We have walked this park many times as a family previous to today and when the children heard that we were going there they were kind of disappointed. As we got out of the car they looked at the park a little differently. They saw things that they missed on previous walks. It was fun to watch them explore and really look at the world around them.
