Meeting a Children's Book Author

We went to a park and listened to Mark Ludy talk about his children books. He wrote "The Farmer," The Flower Man," The Grump," Jujo: The Youngest Tribesman," When I was a Boy... I Dreamed" and "When I was a girl...I dreamed." Mark Ludy really seems to love being a writer. It was fun to listen to him. He didn't talk too long which was great for my children's attention span. I was glad for that.  He read one of his books to us which my kids really enjoyed. He talked about how he became interested in reading books and how he became a good artist. Koby really enjoyed this. The girls kept on asking when we were going to go. But all in all it was a good experience. Thanks Grandma Spelts for telling us about it. We had lots of fun.
