The Polar Express

We had a really neat opportunity with Ryan's work to go serve children at the North Pole. After getting our tickets punched we boarded the Polar Express. It was WAY cool!!! While we traveled to the North Pole the story of the Polar Express was read to the children. The kids we were helping were really sick. For some this might be there last Christmas. They have cancer and other diseases that make them really sick. It was fun watching our children handing gifts out to the children after they sat on Santa's lap. It was such a wonderful experience for our family.

Field trip to the Zoo and Park

This day was such a beautiful fall day. We needed to get away from our everyday routine and decided that this fun park and zoo would be a great place for the kids. This wasn't our first time there but still so much fun. We saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, racoons, turtles, ducks, and our favorite, 2 bald eagles (our homeschool mascot). Grandma and Grandpa Miller, cousins Bren and Alex came with. What a fun outing.
